Handmade Kashmiri Art - Jewelry Box

Description

This pretty handmade wooden jewelry box is crafted by artisans in Kashmir. It features a beautiful relief design which is created with paper Mache. This is then lovingly hand painted with vibrant flowers of many colors. This painting method is traditional to Kashmir.
This beautiful box features a lid design consisting of an intricate floral pattern, around which there is a border of painted green and yellow flowers and a further border with a different leaf design. The sides of the box are decorated in a similar and complimentary fashion to the top.
This lovely box features an inner tray to separate jewelry. It is ideal to store rings, necklaces and bracelets. Additionally, it is lined in pink velvet for that luxury feel.
